My creature mihi
I am originally from North America, but now we are considered a native species to New Zealand having established ourselves here in the 1870s. We can be spotted in Northland, Hawkes bay, Christchurch and Nelson. I can trace my lineage back through Holometabola, Rhopalacera and Insecta. This means that we go through stages of life like egg, larva, pupa and then adult stages. My Latin name is Danaus Plexippus and my family name is Nymphalidae. I am also related to other butterflies. I am a Monarch Butterfly
Can you guess what my animal is?

Devotion Reflection.
We are created in God's image. this means I have God-given creativity and talents.
This week we read the parable of the three servants.
It was about a man who was about to go on holiday for a long time, so he gave his money to his three servants. He gave the amount based on the ability to handle it, to the first servant he gave 5 bags of coins, to the second servant he gave 3 bags of coins and to the last servant he gave 1 bag of coins. when the master came back he called on his three servants to ask what they had done with the money, the first and second servants stepped forward and showed that he had earned 5 more bags and the second one earned 3 more.
The master was overjoyed, the master asked to see what the third servant had done. he looked down at the one bag in his hand and said I didn't want to lose your money so I dug a hole and buried it. The master was furious and yelled at the servant.
This story taught me that I should use the talents that God has given meThursday, August 4, 2022

Limericks, limericks, limericks. So many limericks.
Write poetry
A limerick poem is a short humerus story that has 5 lines and is in the order of AABBA
Here is an example poem we look at in class…
The apprentice Fairy
I once met an apprentice from Keri
She was training to be a fairy
But one day she got a big fright
She realised she was scared of hight
That was the apprentice from Keri
The kid from the Christian School
I once met a kid from Kaikohe Christian School
He was heart-broken they didn't have a swimming pool
But to his great knowledge
He realised they walk to the northland Collage
That was the kid from the Kaikohe Christian School
The girl called Zoe
I once taught a girl called Zoe
She was never ever toey
She sings like an angel in front of our school
And most people think she is really cool
That was the girl called Zoe
