My fair testing.

 In reading, I am learning about fair testing. The experiment we are doing is meant to represent the habitat of an eastry. The way we are going throw with the experiment is we have two plastic bottles that we have cut the top off to use as a place to plant our plants. 

Inside the plastic bottles, we planted the aqua plant in some sand and rocks. then filed the bottles with water.
Three times a week Monday, Wednesday and Friday we feed the plants. we feed the experiment one fertilizer and the control one water.

in class we have been learning about explanations. I was writing about how gardeners are like scientions.

 

Write to explain one of the following: How plants excrete, how gardeners are like scientists, how farmers deal with effluent, or how something works (like a battery circuit) 


 

Gardeners and scientist


Introduction

Did you know that gardeners and scientists are very similar? Well they both do the same things ; they get knowledge from observing and with that knowledge they experiment. This explanation is going to explain why scientists and Gardeners are the same.


Observation

Firstly Gardeners and Scientists both observe. Scientists observe the world around them and Gardeners observe the weather, soil and how their plants are growing. That is one of the reasons why I think they are the same.


Knowledge

Next Gardeners and Scientists also get knowledge from one another. Scientists build on knowledge from other Scientists for an experiment or something they are working on, and Gardeners build on knowledge from other Gardeners for an answer to a question they have on farming or where and when is a good time for planting a certain plant or vegetable.


Experiment

Lastly Gardeners and Scientists both experiment. Scientists experiment to find out an answer to wonderings or to find out what will happen to something in something. Gardeners experiment to try new fertilisers on plants.


Summary

In summary my explanation was trying to tell you that Gardeners and Scientists are very similar because they both observe, get knowledge from one another and experiment. If that did not convince you then I did not know what would.

My kayaking experans.


It was the first day of the school camp and I was very excited because I was kayaking with my friend Eleis.


When we got the kayaks we found a two seater one so we went on it and we had a blast. We went under the breg 12 times. Eleis was at the front and I was sitting in the bake so I went a log with everything.


We went to the botes a lot of times to turn around. After going and doing what she wanted to do we all went on a one seater kayak and man did she enjoy that. It looked like she was going to the restaurant on the water.

It was so funny but when she came back it started to get a bit windy so we tried to go back to the beach but the wind was too strong and it was pooling us back.


 For a minute I felt like it can’t get any worse. But it did started to rain and I fell out of the kayak and I was getting cold. I can't be bothered to get back in the kayak so I gest pulled it back to the beach.


That took me like 20 minutes.


Historical Narrative

The learning task was to create a historical narrative with the correct features for narrative writing.

Zoe chose to write her own narrative based on the Titanic. She did not get to finish her writing.

 One day on the 15th of April 1912 Charlotte and her friend Piper went to the dock to see the ship that everyone was talking about - The Titanic. When they got to their room their mouths dropped as they score the most stunning room they had ever seen. “It’s like someone got some gold and glitter and threw it all over the place”, said Charlotte. “You're so rit,” said Piper “Let’s go and look at the rest of the ship” good Idea then they ran off. 

 3 or 4 hours later after they explored the ship they went to have diner at the restaurant on the ship “It is stunning up hear” said Charlotte. “Yes, it is”. Meanwhile on the top of the ship
